Over the years of being an equine breeder and trainer, I've been challenged with some of these heavier subjects.  The researcher/college graduate in me didn't just want to settle with what my vet's diagnosis and opinion was... I wanted to know "why" it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.  I know that I'm not alone in that so I felt that I'd put time into finding some answers and put into into these documents below.
